Our commitment starts with our compliance with various standards that set the benchmark for sustainable, energy-efficient and hazard-free solutions and help our customers reach their own environmental goals:

RoHS RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) – European Union regulation which restricts the use of hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment. Enterasys meets the highest level of compliance, RoHS-6, for the majority of our products, and we are working toward the future when our entire product line will be free from lead-based solders.
WEEE WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) – European regulation placing responsibility for the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment on the manufacturers of such equipment.
China RoHS, China – China-specific RoHS standard detailing regulations around packaging, recycling and contents of products.
