Barry Cioe

Barry Cioe is Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for the Network Infrastructure and Security business unit (Enterasys). Cioe is responsible for the definition, delivery, and promotion of the company’s switching, routing, wireless, management and security products. Cioe works closely with customers, partners and prospects to understand their networking and security needs in order to develop cost-effective solutions that help ensure their success.
Prior to joining Enterasys, Cioe led several product development and network and security services teams for Symantec, AXENT Technologies and GTE. Cioe helped with the design, development and deployment of large-scale networks and multi-million dollar software systems for both commercial and government applications. Cioe has over 20 years of experience in the Internet security and network infrastructure markets. He has also managed the deployment and integration of various technologies, including enterprise switching and routing, Unified Threat Management systems, security gateways, firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Network Access Control solutions and more.
Cioe earned his BS in Computer Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and his MBA from Northeastern University.
