Celebrating 25 Years of Superior Customer Service
2008 marks a milestone year for Enterasys as we celebrate our 25th anniversary as a networking innovator. Cabletron was founded in 1983 on the principle of building a company with customer support as the cornerstone. Today, 25 years and thousands of customers later, Enterasys has remained true to our customer-centric philosophy as we earn the right to your business every day and strive to become your favorite vendor. Last fall, Enterasys had more than 1,000 responses to our annual customer satisfaction survey. An industry-leading 95% of our customers said they would buy from Enterasys again. 82% said they would recommend Enterasys to one of their peers.
With our customers as our ultimate technology guide, we enter this banner year with more than 50 patents pending – evidence of our foundation of innovation which includes being the first vendor to deliver:
- LEDs on Ethernet connections to show network activity
- Multivendor network management system
- Multi-protocol routing
- Directory enabled networking with policy-based management
- Network Access Control (NAC) across wired and wireless networks
In Enterasys’ rich history of providing secure networking to our customers, our solutions have been entrusted for mission-critical jobs including being selected to be the first hub in space deployed by NASA in 1995, being selected to ensure secure ship to shore communications in the US Navy Atlantic and Pacific fleets in 1997, and securing Fort Knox in 1998.
This tradition of success continues as Interop, the industry’s leading global technology event, has honored Enterasys in our landmark year by selecting us to be the official backbone and security provider for Interop 2008 in Las Vegas & New York. This is the first time ever that Interop has selected one vendor to provide both the networking and security solution for InteropNet. We have had a presence at Interop since the event began in 1986; and in 1996 our MMAC-Plus was named Interop’s Best of Show. I cannot think of a more appropriate venue to launch our 25th anniversary celebration.
The Enterasys Secure Networks solution was selected from among the biggest number of solution provider applicants in the history of the InteropNet program to prioritize and secure the world’s largest temporary network.
InteropNet 2008 will provide us with a highly-visible opportunity to show the industry our convergence, compliance and connectivity strengths as we work with all the InteropNet volunteers and attendees from multiple global organizations to provide reliable, high-speed networking services for exhibitors, conference rooms and attendees. The Enterasys Secure Networks™ solution was selected from among the biggest number of solution provider applicants in the history of the InteropNet program to prioritize and secure the world's largest temporary network – connecting thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors using VoIP and Virtualization technologies.
