| Course Overview: |
Students will learn methods to properly configure and manage their Enterasys Wireless LAN (WLAN) and Security environments using network management software (NetSight) applications. This knowledge will be reinforced through actual hands-on experience with both wireless equipment as well as the Enterasys Mobile IAM solution, in a lab environment, where students will perform real world tasks configuring access points, security parameters, filtering and privacy settings, as well managing your BYOD environment. |

| Course Agenda: |
- Introduction and discussions regarding BYOD technologies including: their role in information security, capabilities of the Enterasys BYOD solution, Enterasys Policy Manager, and policy configuration guidelines for integration with Mobile IAM.
- Overview and discussions regarding the Enterasys Wireless solution components. In addition, installation and configuration of the wireless controller including multiple virtual network design configurations will be discussed.
- Configuration and implementation of security parameters including 802.1x, filtering (policies), captive portal and privacy settings, as well user management settings.
- Overview of Mobile IAM application including discussions and hands-on labs regarding creation of rules for different users and devices based on several components including authentication method, MAC-Address, operating system or location, and User Group / User Group Authorization within Active Directory.
- Configuration and implementation of Guest Registration process including change management to existing registrations and maintaining specific user registration accounts.
- Discussions regarding the monitoring, management, and reporting capabilities using the OneFabric Console.
