E2Hub Jumper and Switch Settings
HELP: Board Views, Hardware Tables.
The E2Hub DNI card has the following jumper and switch settings.
- JP3 Board Select Jumper
Setting The Board Select Jumper
The Board Address Select Jumper, JP3, must be set to one of four possible addresses before the card is installed. The Board Address Select allows you to set the I/O (input/ output) base address that identifies the Eh HubCard to the PC. The I/O address is a hexidecimal field that distinguishes the E2 HubCard from other cards that may be in the PC. Two shunts are supplied with the jumper in the event you want to use the 220Hex address setting.
Figure 1. Setting the I/O Base Address
Select the Base I/O address by placing the shunts on JP3 as follows:
Select I/O 380 by not using the shunts.
Select I/O 300 by using one shunt over 2 and 4.
Select I/O 280 by using one shunt over 1 and 3.
Select I/O 220 by using both shunts over pins 1 and 3, and over pins 2 and 4.
